Resolved - Our Engineering team has confirmed the fix for the issue that was affecting access to certain billing, time/fees, and expenses functions as well as the ability log in for some Legal Accounting users.

We will post an analysis (aka "post-mortem") soon, to provide full transparency and timelines with regards to this situation. We apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused and thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve it.

Update - Our Engineering team has identified the root cause of the issue affecting access to certain billing, time/fees, and expenses functions for some users.

A fix has been deployed and is currently being rolled out. During this process, some users may experience temporary non-responsive errors when accessing these areas. We will provide another update once the deployment is complete and full functionality has been confirmed.

In the meantime, time and expenses can continue to be recorded using a .csv template for manual upload once full functionality has been restored.

Resolved - We are now able to report that the NetDocuments integration issue affecting Canadian users has been resolved. We have confirmed that new files are syncing correctly to NetDocuments and changes made to existing files are also now reflecting correctly. We will be reviewing this incident to help avoid issues like these in future and to ensure stability of key integrations such as the NetDocuments integration. Though our Engineering team has reported some progress toward a solution, the matter has not yet been resolved. It’s our top priority to have this addressed as soon as possible. Update - In a continuation of yesterday’s communication, we’re continuing to investigate an issue impacting Canadian NetDocs users.

Our Engineering team has identified the root cause of the issue. Requests being sent from Actionstep to NetDocuments are being rejected because the format of the data being sent does not match the expected request type on the NetDocuments side. As a result, otherwise valid requests are failing and returning errors.

Our Engineering team is actively working on a fix. While we don’t yet have an ETA, we will provide updates throughout the day. We sincerely apologize for the disruption and appreciate your patience while we work to restore full functionality.

Identified - As it is nearing close-of-business in North America, we wanted to give you a final update for the day. Again, our Engineering team is making progress on addressing the ongoing NetDocs integration issue that our Canadian users are experiencing. It is not, however, fully resolved. We understand this is taking longer than typical, and for that, we apologize.

Update - Actionstep Legal Accounting is fully operational. We are, however, continuing to investigate an issue impacting customers in Canada who use NetDocuments.

Our Engineering team has identified the most likely cause as a change within the NetDocuments Canadian API environment, which is resulting in previously valid Legal Accounting requests returning HTTP 400 errors. Work is actively underway to address this.

While we don’t yet have a confirmed ETA, we will continue to provide updates throughout the day. We appreciate your patience and will share further information as soon as it becomes available.
